Discover the Joy of Doula Support
Encouraging intentional transistions for families in the Greater North Austin area
You've got the baby. I've got you.
Bringing home a new baby is one of life's most beautiful transitions, and it can also feel overwhelming. The days are long, the questions are endless, and it's easy to lose yourself while caring for someone else.
That's where I come in.
As your postpartum doula, I'll lovingly care for your baby while helping care for the person who needs support just as much, you.
I want to be the person you can exhale around. The one who helps you catch up on sleep, talks through the questions keeping you up at night, celebrates the little victories, reminds you to eat lunch, reassures you when you're second guessing yourself, and quietly steps in wherever support is needed.
Every family is different, so I don't believe in a one size fits all approach. My job isn't to tell you how to parent. It's to learn what matters most to your family and support you in becoming the parent you want to be, with encouragement, evidence based guidance, and absolutely no judgment.
My hope is that when our time together comes to an end, you won't just remember having an extra set of hands. You'll remember how you felt: more rested, more confident, more like yourself, and ready for this next chapter.
A little more about me...
I'm Jeni, a certified postpartum doula, fitness and wellness coach, wife to Matt, and mom to Lyon and Lola.
Motherhood has taught me that every family's story is different, and every parent deserves support that feels personal. That belief is at the heart of BirthStrong Collective and the way I care for the families I serve.
When I'm not supporting new parents, you'll usually find me coaching Orangetheory classes, out for a sunny run, dancing in the kitchen with my family, or enjoying a really good cup of coffee.
It would be an honor to walk alongside your family during one of life's biggest adventures.
Provide evidence based, compassionate guidance on newborn care, feeding rhythms, and soothing techniques - tailored to your families needs.
Empower parents by building confidence in your parenting skills and instincts.
Nurture the new family unit - offering emotional presence, active listening, and gentle reassurance.
Care for your baby so you can rest, shower, eat, or bond with your family.
Support feeding goals (checking latch, pumping routines, bottle feeding), alongside resources and referrals for specialized expertise.
Process birth experiences and normalize the full spectrum of emotions and adjustments that come with bringing home a baby.
Provide referrals and connections when needs go beyond the scope of doula care (like lactation consultants, pelvic health specialists, or pediatric support).
How I Support You
As a postpartum doula, I do not:
Stay awake all night on shift. - overnight care is provided, and I rest when baby rests.
Provide medical or clinical care - doulas are non-medical professionals
Act as a lactation consultant - I will offer education, encouragement and help you connect with specialists when needed.
Make decisions for you - I equip and support you in making confident choices that fit your family.
